Camp Counselors - Day Camp shift
Mon - Fri 8:30 am-4 pm
Overnight week shifts
Mon Fri 8:30-4:30 (Daily)
Sun 4 pm - 9 am & Mon -Thurs 4 pm - 9 am (Daily)
Sun 4 pm - Wed 9 am or Wed 8 am - Fri 4 pm (These shifts are offered for individuals to work [several days & nights consecutively] during Overnight Camp Weeks) *College Student Friendly hours
Floats - Assist with campers in various positions but not assigned to a specific cabin or campers.
Group Leads - The individuals applying for this position should be able to work closely with the Program Director, lead staff, and campers throughout their day. Demonstrating teamwork and making campers' safety and experience the #1 priority
Housekeeping - The individual applying for this position will be responsible for assisting with keeping camp clean. This could mean laundry, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping
Art - Individuals applying for this position will be responsible for creating art sessions adaptable for all of our Campers. The campers enjoy painting, tie-dyeing, and other crafting.
Music - Individuals applying for this position will be responsible for creating a music session adaptable to all our Campers. This can include leading Karaoke, singing camp songs, and helping to incorporate instruments and tools to assist in campers' overall experience.
Kitchen - Individuals applying for this position could be considered for Day camp weeks and/or Overnight camp weeks. We are in need of cooks (Must have Food Manager Certificate) We are also in need of individuals to help with prepping, cooking, and serving the food for our Campers. They will assist with keeping our kitchen up to code. (Must have or be willing to get Food Handlers)
Lifeguards - This individual will have a valid certification for keeping Campers safe in any waterfront area. This includes the pool, boat, and while Campers are fishing.
• Guarding the pool, lakefront area, or on the boat.
• Assist in the mobility of campers into the pool, boat, or dock area. Including the ability to lift individuals into the chairlift or assist downstairs into the pool. Assist with programs and activities as assigned.
• Enthusiastically participate in camp activities and encourage camper participation in camp activities.
• Follow the direction of the supervisor and leadership staff and work effectively as a team member with other staff.
• Properly, adequately, and continuously monitor campers under your supervision, and take responsibility for assisting with their comfort and ensuring their safety. Follow all safety, emergency, and health regulations.
• Know each camper and the support they need in the water areas of the camp by reviewing their camp application and caregiver’s instructions.
• Care or assist in care for the needs of the camper while in the activity area (sunscreen on, hydration, shade as needed)
• Follow all camp policies and procedures
Boat Driver - This individual will Drive the Boat, giving scheduled rides to Campers during Summer Camp weeks. Their priority will be evaluating the boat and keeping campers safe. The individual considered should be familiar with the water.
Train Driver - This individual will drive the train, giving scheduled rides to our Campers during the Summer Camp weeks. During any downtime, the individual will help prep for activities and other tasks as needed.
***Each position will be required to complete the training provided ***
Nurse - This individual will work (Day shifts) during Day Camp weeks. We are also accepting applications for PRN.
